Scott Alexander, from Mountain View Daylillies for his support and for providing the funds for a new storage shed to be built behind our existing garage for storage of donations etc. COLONIAL FIRST STATE NATIONAL – for $2500 , which was 3rd prize in  their 2014 Charity Boost campaigns. ST PETER LUTHERAN COLLEGE  - INDOOROPILLY for their continuous support and for donations of toiletries, wool, handmade items,  new brought items including toys for Christmas gifts  and prepaid petrol cards.  A special THANKYOU to Jo, Lia, Kym, Sandie, Trina and all the wonderful “hubsters” for their amazing  work in creating donations for us and also for teaching the Year 9 Christian Studies classes how to loom, and then the children donate the beanies etc that they loom to us to give to the less fortunate A huge thank you to Sunsuper, for the Bonus grant of $5000 in their August Sunsuper Dreams competition. This grant is being used to buy wool to distribute to members to use to make even more items for the less fortunate. Thanks also to Rebecca Barclay at Sunsuper, for the various media opportunities she has organised for us to promote K4BN even more i.e.  Channel 9 segment during the Riverfire special which was shown on Saturday September 29, 2012 interview and photo in The Range News etc.
Thankyou to Spotlight, Everton Park, for donation of various balls of yarn in September, 2012.   Thankyou also to Albany Creek, Beenleigh, Browns Plains, Caboolture, Deception Bay, Narangba, Proston and Victoria Point libraries for allowing us to hold our knit and natters on their premises. Thanks also to Zillmere Community Centre; Yarn Over at Keperra/Grovely; Sunshine Coast Revival, Fellowship  at Forest Glen, The Quilters Store, Salisbury, and to Claire and Ron, Scarborough and Yvette, Toowoomba for hosting knit and natters at their premises as well. All members and non members who donate their lovely, hand made items to be distributed to the less fortunate; unusued toiletries for the hygiene packs we give out to thehomeless; toys etc. Without you all, this group would not be able to exist. THANKYOU A BIG THANK YOU, to my husband Peter, for all his support, passion and laughter that he brings to the group, as well as all the driving to various parts of Queensland so I can attend knit and natters; drop off donations etc.   Last but no means least, thank you to Bob Waldock, for his untiring efforts in creating this new, up to date website.
